A Tea Room Where You Are Treated Like A Queen

I love tea rooms! There is just something so special about walking through the door and instantly being surrounded by beauty and charm. Each one is unique in presentation and selections of interesting teas. As I was researching South Florida tea rooms where I could treat my 31 year old daughter on her birthday, I came across “Oscar’s Tearoom”. Don’t let the name fool you. This place is elegant from top to bottom. Chandeliers and the fragrance of fresh baked foods are only a few of the notable pleasantries that make up the ambience. There are many fine touches in this place like china hand painted from England. Lush shades of red can be seen everywhere and deliver a sense of regal-ness. You may even think for a moment that your in London. We ordered High Tea which was an assortment of delicious finger sandwiches, quiches, and many other specialty items. This came with a variety of teas that never ended, along with fresh fruit, scones, cakes and other gourmet goodies. If this wasn’t enough the owners made the experience even lovelier with their wit and charm. Upon hearing it was my daughters birthday, and without prompting, they emerged in song with a slice of birthday cake and surprise kisses for each cheek. Such royal treatment!
